Healthy Food = Stronger Communities

Having reliable access to adequate nutrition is important for everyone’s health as we age.

Yet many eligible older adults are missing out on the benefits of SNAP each month in Missouri, often due to misconceptions and stigma.

Food Access for a Lifetime aims to spread awareness and clear up confusion about SNAP, as well as advocate for statewide policy changes that will increase the ease of participation for older adults.

Why? Because healthy food access = stronger communities.

And every Missourian deserves to prioritize nutrition at every age.
